Update - Sunderland 1-0 Bolton

IT was a game with good deal of drama to the very end, but Danny Welbeck's first half goal was enough to give Sunderland a win that moves them up to 6th in the league. Craig Gordon's save for the home team at the end of the first half was also crucial, as the Scottish shot-stopper pulled off one of the best saves of the season.

For those who followed the advice to back Sunderland earlier, it looks good for the rest of the day, with so few other games surviving the snow!

4/5 now on the blog (80%). A Saturday summary will follow later and a weekly summary in due course.
